Heinr. Böker Baumwerk Gmbh – founded in
1869, has been producing the very popular Böker Tree Brand knives
for over a century. The name "Böker Arbolito Tree Brand" has got nothing in
common with the agricultural or forestry industries, contrary to what the
name would seem to suggest.
We produce high quality cutlery ranging from
durable folding and fixed blade knives for the demanding tasks of daily use,
to beautiful limited edition models for the rising number of collectors.
All phases of production including design,
engineering and construction occur in-house through our highly skilled
personnel. In addition to this expert staff, we have added high-tech tools
like computer aided CNC-assembling machines in the last few years to augment
and guarantee a constant level of quality workmanship in the areas of
buffing and assembling, to facilitate the step between idea and reality.
With an enthusiastic and committed team of sales
representatives assigned throughout Western Europe, subsidiaries in the
United States and Argentina, and a worldwide group of international
importers, we defend our strong position in the international market. Böker
has fought hard for the status of a most innovative and quality driven

Before a product leaves our facility, we subject it
to a thorough round of tests, ranging from conditions of normal daily use to
extreme unconventional abuse, thus, ensuring that form follows function,
without failure.
For any new innovative materials we demand extreme
strength. Each new material that we consider using undergoes a series of
breaking tests, corrosion tests, ongoing maximum loading tests and detailed
cutting tests by independent research institutes. All our products are
designed for a long life of quality and functionality.

A few words about Solingen...
It must be stressed that just because a blade is
marked "Solingen", it does not ensure that the "Solingen" is inside.
Solingen, the knife making center of Germany, is well known for superior
quality in producing cutlery. For this reason the "Made in Solingen" stamp
is often used deceptively by swindlers.
The law says that goods may be marked with
"Solingen" only if the vast majority of important manufacturing steps are
made in Solingen, with little exception.
How do you protect yourself from fraud? Look for
recognized manufacturers and brands. Avoid unknown or nameless products
marked "Made in Solingen" and ask if there are any doubts. We stand ready to
