Kershaw Knives is a company which manufactures many types of moderately priced knives, from kitchen cutlery to pocket knives and outdoor knives.

History

Kershaw Knives was founded by Pete Kershaw, formerly of Gerber Legendary Blades, in Portland, Oregon in 1974. Early manufacture was primarily done in Japan, and in 1977 Kershaw became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese KAI Group. Current manufacturing facilities are located in Tualatin, Oregon and Kuangtung, China.
